All the Services on the M4
We all need to stop on a long drive: for a rest, a drink or something to eat, the toilets, fuel, or to charge an EV. Our M4 services pages help you find the nearest services on the M4, which side of the motorway you can reach them from, and what you will find when you get there.
There are eleven service areas on the M4, from Heston on the edge of London to Pont Abraham where the motorway ends in west Wales. Five are in England and six in Wales.
Services where the two sides are separate
Most M4 services can be reached from either direction. At Heston, Reading, Membury and Leigh Delamere there is a site on each side of the motorway. At Reading the two sides are not linked; at Leigh Delamere a footbridge joins them.

Severn View is not on the M4
Severn View services is on the M48, at its Junction 1, on the old Severn Bridge route. If you are on the M4 heading into Wales, the first services you reach is Magor.
Check the traffic before you stop
Check the latest M4 traffic news before you plan a break, so a closure or queue does not come between you and your stop. In Wales the M4 is run for the Welsh Government by Traffic Wales, not National Highways. Our live news comes from National Highways, so it may not include incidents on this part of the motorway.
Service area details were checked against more than one published source in September 2026. Outlets and facilities change, so check with the operator if you are relying on something in particular.
