Junction 11 at Three Mile Cross is the main turn for Reading town centre, about three miles north, on the A33, and for Basingstoke to the south. Three Mile Cross, Whitley Wood and Shinfield are beside it. The Select Car Leasing Stadium, Reading FC's ground, is about a mile north-west, and Reading Green Park station about a mile and a half north-west.

Reading's town centre, the Green Park business area and the stadium are all reached from Junction 11, so it serves office workers, football fans and shoppers alike. A quick look here can tell you whether to use it or the junction either side.
