Junction 45 at Ynysforgan links the M4 to the A4067 for Swansea city centre to the south and the Swansea valley and the Brecon Beacons to the north. Ynysforgan, Ynystawe and Cwmrhydyceirw are beside it. Morriston Hospital is about a mile west, and the Swansea Bus Museum about a mile and a half south.
