Junction 29 at Castleton is where the A48(M) leaves for east Cardiff, along with the A48 for St Mellons. Castleton, Coedkernew and Marshfield are beside it. Tredegar House is about a mile and a half north-east, and St Mellons Shopping Centre about two and a half miles south-west.
