West of Cardiff the M4 runs past Llantrisant and Pencoed to Bridgend, then out towards the coast at Pyle, past Margam Country Park and along the edge of Port Talbot to Briton Ferry and the approach to Swansea.
People commuting to Bridgend, shoppers at the outlet near Sarn and holidaymakers heading for Porthcawl all use this section. Sarn Park services sits at junction 36. Live speeds are not shown here yet, because National Highways' data covers the M4 in England only.
